    Biz Hub 4750 ,3850, 3350

    Hey guys,
Have not worked on Konica Minolta for a while but looking at some printers to buy. BIZ HUB 4750, 3850C, 3350C. Any thoughts on these machines? The tread seems to be going toward printers.
    Thanks

I would say to stay away from them. Network issues with the 4750. To replace the fuser you have to disassemble the whole machine.
The C3350/C3850 are not bad. Scanner belts and the doc feeder are troublesome

Agree with the others. If you are low volume the C3350 / C3850 will treat you well but if you run more than 100 copies a day these aren't the models for you. As posted the doc feeder is very weak (can't believe they kept same feeder as the horrible C35!)

If you have the room and can spend some more $ than buy a bigger low meter off lease Biz C224e for around $600. I know it's more than average price of $150 for off lease C3850 but you will have a trouble free copier that all you have to do is clean covers and deliver it!

I wouldn't put the C3350 or C3351 into a dirty environment. The laser slit glasses get seriously dusted in a short period of time, and there's no wand or automated cleaner. You have to pull all the supplies and try to jam your hands into the machine cavity to clean the laser slit glasses. And the DF's aren't very good.
          =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
          1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
          2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
          3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
          4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
          5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

the "wand" to clean the laser slit glass is in the inside of the front door. Once you have removed waste toner box, toner and drum units - very easy to clean.

Thank you for your input. Gonna try this line for now. You are right all machines have there little "personalities" ! LOL I guess thats what keeps us in business.

The 3350/3380 i can live with.
That 4750 lexmark imposter will not make drum life and will end up costing triple what you calculated.
Some times less than 30% of drum life!

I am a Bizhub fan but there are better A4 machines out there.
                Whatever
