Firmware 224E Mono required please

Hi Everyone
We are a Olivetti dealer and have a Konica 224e (mono) machine that requires the latest firmware to enable airprint
We have firmware for the colour versions as we sold these but olivetti never took up the mono range
Hope someone can help

What version you on currently. Putting it on version 7 might be enough to enable it

Someone here correct me if I'm wrong but I believe the current version firmware is Model: bizhub 554e Series
MFP firmware Ver. G20-K9

If the firmware on the copier is recent enough (from Gxx-J6 or later) ......You may just need to set the software switch 25 to 60 to enable the version 7.
[Service Mode] -> [System 2] -> [Software Switch Setting]
Then, the airprint option will show up under network settings.

If the current firmware version is really old....you may indeed need the firmware. A guy on copytechnet sells it....we have used him several times. Firmware Update - Printer & Copier Firmware

To check the current version just go to utility>device information

There was a fw release in March this year.

that is special FW to address a tri-fold issue, not base.
its still 2016 base FW with an added patch.

Which in turn means that Synthohol is right and latest base FW G20-M1 10/31/2016 should be OK with AirPrint.

There have been multiple firmware releases since the last mass production version in 2016.

These releases address various know issues but may not be necessary to enable AirPrint.
