    PF-707

Hi guys sorry for the bother.
Need a part number for the PS40 centering sensor for a PF-707.

This unit was installed as a second PF for a C1100 but now need to use it on another machine.
Would that be a kit that needs to be ordered?

    hmmm...
I never had tandem PF707s. I'll be interested in the answer. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

                    Hi Allan,
in my opinion, there is no PS40 in the PF-707.
The PF-707 is the Paper Feed Unit from C1100, C2070 and newer Series.
Both Series have a Sensor inside the print system.

Will take 3 to 4 weeks to get it here.
It comes with the PF but this one was never installed as a primary PF and the sensor assy since have been lost in transport...
My friend needs this machine installed at a customer without that the machine is a brick.

Error code C-5109 pops up if the sensor is not there.

                          Sorry, you are right.

I found the partnumber in the parts catalog page 120 (acessory parts)

                          A5AWR73500 Deflection Sensor Assy

I have PF-707m hooked up to C6100. I am getting same error code : Error code C-5109

I don't see the sensor inside my brand new PF-707m. Is it needed for C6100?
