    [Misc] Bizhub C224 - SSO SSL

    Hello, I'm trying to use the SSO with the Bizhub C224 but allways when try to join to the domain get error; we are using the the AD with SSL can be this the problem?? The LDAP can be configure without problem but the SSO allways get server error can't connect.

      machine old and discontinued.
      does not adhere to current security levels required by current servers.
      perfect opportunity to upgrade machine to currently supported models.
      We know a thing or two because we've seen a thing or two.
      The medication helps though...

          Then is not supported for this model?? I know is not a very new model but is the machine I have

              An attempt could make it updated to the latest firmware, otherwise it is not supported with the new security protocols.

                  The C224 was probably keyed to server 2008..and yes, current servers would block this all day probably just due to unsupported security protocols..TLS 1.2 ie..But, I have a C468 that I am unable to connect to my 2012 servers due to constraints placed upon the company network. My question is why would you want to join a MFP to your domain?? To take advantage of scanning w/o having to sign in? Or are you trying to print with authentication and windows IDs? Ed

                      The idea is to use SSO to avoid having to configure the driver for each user and create the user by hand

                          There is 'version up' firmware available for the C224 this 'upgrades' your old 4 series to a 4e series this may be a solution for you.

                              What i normally do when i cant get SSO working is just setup user auth with AD names and no password.

                              Then install universal driver and in admin section lock the user auth setting so it cant be changed.

                              Since the users use cards to login at copier they never even know the accounts arent protected by password

                                          That SSO functionality also requires special drivers that pull the windows credentials for printing... E

                                          Sorry no special drivers, just enabling SSO under the authentication tab. E
