          Is your feeder DF-624 or DF-701?


          Check that it is closing properly and that there is something in the paper path obstructing it

              adjust screw on right hinge (standing in front of machine). The adj screw sits horizonal.

              Best to get service manual which shows proper adjustment procedure

                  It's common job for a tech. Either ADF not properly adjusted or machine moved by pushing on ADF.
