    Konica Minolta C450i

When you need to upgrade the size of the included 250 GB SSD to the 1TB #EM908 is that a SSD as well or a HDD?

I think it is a SSD.

There is another option called the HD-524 A888WY2 described as additional Mirroring. What is the purpose of this option and can it be installed in the C450i simultaneously with the SSD or replace out the SSD?

    Thanks,

I'll be interested in the answers. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

Looks to be SSD and I don't see the HD 524 listed as working on the C450i but on the 8 series it does.

I agree the impressive 1TB option is a SSD.

What is the purpose of the mirroring function in the copier?

Can a technician swap out the 250 GB SDD and swap in the HD-524 A888WY2?

Or can both the 250 GB SSD and the
HD-524 A888WY2 be both installed in the copier at the same time?

From a Bizhub 958 spec guide

"HD-524 Hard Disk Mirroring Type Internal Back Up HDD Function Provides real-time synchronized back up of the primary hard disk drive" ... ensures data availability presumably in case the primary storage device fails.

Can the HD-524 be installed simultaneous with the 250GB SSD?

              I second that.
No HDD option on this model.

You could always add the optional IC-420 Fiery controller with what BLI describes as having a 160GB HDD.

This would both significantly add to the expense and complexity of the copier.

Buyers Laboratory Inc (BLI) does describe the HD-524 A888WY2 as an option. They have been wrong on the past.

I do not know, maybe there is some technical issue backing up data from a SSD to a HDD?
