here is the abort code list, that dinosaur machine is 17 years old. it cost more to fix than just buying one from this century

Although I'm with you on this machine being too old and tricky to keep alive, we should be aware that some people especially in poor countries have no resources, nor money and must work on what have in hand. Think Di-251 is similar and remember getting abort codes if exp lamp foil had cracks in it. Been awhile think we used solder to fill in cracks.Comment

As per that abort code list it point to a scanner system failure.
So not a firmware issue i would guess. Did you replace boards on it?
First i would reseat the main board and connectors.
And as mentioned check the scanner lamp.
Sure there are plenty of B363 type machines around there. What would that cost you?
