Speaking of tech bulletins, can I purchase those from you for Kyocera models?

Yes sure, but you might want to post any issues you have in the Kyocera forum by starting a new thread.

Does the TCR value change if you manually add toner?
            0.6% is almost completely detoned.

Would then expect it to be a factory error somewhere.
            Bad part or not connected.

Warrant - this is faulty K IU.

Thanks for the info but this pic is too small to read, could you possibly PM me this bulletin please?

I can't see how to manually add toner on this model, it used to be in CE mode > Image Processing Adjustment > Manual Toner Add. However this option is not there on this iseries?

You have to upgrade to the latest FW and then you will have the option. They call it high speed agitation in the tech pub but its manual toner add in service mode. Do it twice and if that doesnt fix it then you will have to replace the IU.

Sorry by manual i mean the old fashioned way to add a bit of toner in the tank.
If the value goes up it shown life at the TCR sensor.
I would try to recover the developer and then try to find the cause for it not to get toner.
If all seems well it should dwell around 6.5%. If not i will reset the tank with an eyeballed density.

How dense is a half tone at 255? Should be very faint.

Then if you can claim the unit....

I tried to load the G00-B5 firmware but the machine just hung on the progress bar screen & didnt install.

                              Bad IU. Warranty!

A year passed since initial models and still this issue is not sorted out.

Drums doesn't look like KM (different colour).
                              Is this model rebranded?
