[Misc] Konica Minolta C454e - Does not wake up - Firmware

Hi All

Yesterday, installed Konica Minolta C454e. in the morning printer stopped responding.
Display was off. Sub Power light was on and start button was Red. Restarted the printer and while printing got a message. Job deleted due to insufficient memory.

Firmware is old A5C10Y0-F000-GD3-K9(00), is that could be a reason? Please also advise which one is new firmware for C454e

A5C10Y0-F000-G20-M1 or A61F0Y0-F000-G20-M1 or?

A5C10Y0-F000-G20-M1 is correct.
do you need it?
also permit (the ability to change) sleep mode in svc mode and turn off sleep in admin.
sleep mode is a killer on the 4e's
also bit sw 25 set to 60

[Administrator Settings] -> [System Settings] -> [Power
Supply/Power Save Settings]. turn off completely and set power save to the max if you want.

Many thanks. Today didn't get that problem. Machine is running smoothly. But couldn't update the firmware as machine does not detect the external memory (used the same external memory for other machine yesterday and it was working). Noticed one more thing in administrator Settings - user Box settings it just show number 6 7 8 only and in external memory function setting it shows only SAVE Document option.

admin mode, user box setting, external memory setting change all to yes.

I always turn off the sleep mode on all 4 series machines. To many issues when waking up (not me the copier ).

Seem to recall a special F/W for this issue but easier to just turn off in admin mode after doing what Synthohol posted.

Disable power consumption in sleepmode and turn off weekly timer. Also sounds like your HDD is disabled, check in the service mode to see if it is set to Installed.

How many different firmware is there to install on a factory reset c454e? I have that old FW aswell as the thread starter have. But it seems like a need the one for the guide to. Or is it the same?
