You claimed problem from both glass and DF right? Without DF you still should be able to scan from glass.

This is nothing to do with df. Scanner and df not sharing board thy are separate.btw thanks for your opinion.

Just do what he said and disconnect the adf and ds board. DS can board can cause all kinds of issues unrelated to the ADF.

Agree with this statement... had a ds board go bad and cause erratic print issues with a c454e..

Sometimes you should follow advice even it is not clearly logic, especially with some strange problem like this one.
