    TCR Sensor C7000 vs C6500

Does anyone know if a TCR Sensor for a C7000 will work in a C6500 as well? They are different part numbers, but I'm hoping it's the same basic sensor.

    Thanks, Lee

Me too. Just hoping so. I have a customer who needs one for a C6500 and I will already be in their area tomorrow and I have a new C7000 dev unit, but not a C6500 TCR.

I don't do production but if I had the parts guide I'd just see if PN are the same

You should try it, they can be the same thing.
Recently have problem on C6000 and replaced transfer roller HV wire from C5501, i think whole transfer belt is totally the same and some more parts for sure.
          BTW i use DU104 (C6000,7000) for years on C5501.

IF the toner formulation is not the same the TCR sensor has to be different

Agreed,I just google both sensors, they look same except different connector.
Just searched,it seems toner is the same compound.

Aftermarket toner sensors seem to fit both press.

well we all know how much KM's like aftermarket toners...

even with the connector being different I wouldn't trust trying to fit one in.

Phil you are right on aftermarket toners. My guess is both machines use same toner formulas I just hopefully seek for evidence he can use what have in hand.

Toners are the same compound so sensors are propably the same except connector.
If i would in some emergency situations i would just replace connector and fit.
On the field i have to improvise so many times sensors, termistors, heater lamps,clutches... with just different connectors or similar small difference to back machine to working condition without waiting for original part.
