[Error Code] C-2101 error code Bizhub 758

I have a bizhub 758 2.3million copies that started going into an error state repeatedly showing C2101 CODE will troubleshoot drum unit,but also makina black solid line when making copies not when printing see images below

solid black line when copying = dirty scan glass or adf not aligned properly.

2.3 million? have PM's been done properly and on time?

what is the life counts on supplies/parts?

genuine OEM toners/drums?

have you run ACC?

exactly what have you done?

Its arching...
Due to one or more of these:
Charge cleaner not working correctly.
Worn drum surface.
Failing cleaing blade.
Over toning.
Contamination on the grid.


Drum and dev unit probably over life.

I would strip and clean the drum unit if i had no other choice.

I have replaced the dev unit at 1.6 million copies the drum unit was changed at 1.5 million copies will replaced the drum unit tomorrow and check alignment on the adf seeing that it is a drum cleaning error most likely the drum is contaminated.

So it turned out to be the drum unit replaced with new drum unit , cleaned the fuser pressure roller had burnt toner line on it, cleaned slit glass platen glass and adf slit glass , secondary & primary mirrors amd the copies turned out great no lines and the machine is working normal.

Same series as bizhub 958, your SM should state something like bizhub 758/808/958 at the beginning.

So it turned out to be the drum unit replaced with new drum unit , cleaned the fuser pressure roller had burnt toner line on it, cleaned slit glass platen glass and adf slit glass , secondary & primary mirrors amd the copies turned out great no lines and the machine is working normal.

Regarding my post the mahine is acting up again shows cleaning in progress after 1 copy jobs stops machine needs to be restarted to use again then after 1 copy it stops again? .

Clean the 2 sensors under the transfer belt. It can't make a good patch to adjust density.
Usually that is the bugger.

Developing unit 64% , drum 98% , fusing unit 16% , transfer roller 82% , ttansfer belt 16% , Firmware A79J0Y0-F000-GC1-X4
