    It's necessary to upload firmware after install the EM907 extended memory unit?

      I really don't know but it would be only good to update machine firmware to the latest.

          When adding accessories it's a good idea to run firmware anyway so you are assured all the components are on the same page. (Pun semi intended)
          We know a thing or two because we've seen a thing or two.
