You can use any router or access point with client mode function.
Set router to connect to your main wifi router and plug lan cable from router to C3100p.

Amazon.com: TP-Link AV600 Powerline Ethernet Adapter(TL-PA4010 KIT)- Plug&Play, Power Saving, Nano Powerline Adapter, Expand Home Network with Stable Connections: Computers & Accessories
plug 1 into router/switch the other in the printer.
          uses ethernet over power.
bought a dozen sets for work already. they are solid!
We know a thing or two because we've seen a thing or two.
          The medication helps though...

You can add the NCP03 (along with MK P07 mount kit) to give the machine wireless features, but it probably is cheaper just to cable it to a wireless LAN access point. E

              Much cheaper.

As many have said use a range extender. This one works a treat, simple to set up & costs peanuts.
