[CQ] Quality problem km c258 magenta color.

    Hi guys
I have a c258 with a quality problem in the magenta color as you can see in the samples. The magenta unit prints with multiple white dots, especially when the gradiation is 255.
We have tried a new compatible drum with the same result, we have tried changing different colored drums yelow cian with the same result.
    Any ideas?
    developer unit? laser? mainboard?

NOTE: Stopping the printing you see that the dots already appear on the drum.

    Thank you?.

Looks like a developer issue, especially as you've said its already on the drum.
    Are you using compatible toner?

Seems you have answered your own question.
From how long it's using compatible toner?

I had the same issue during covid when KM was down and was forced to use a compatible product.

The problem was solved only by printing, perhaps it was a problem of mixing 2 toners from different suppliers, I have nothing for sure

I agree with everything said here. White dots could be your developer but compatible toner can do really bad things if it is mixed improperly. If he problem doesn't go away from throwing in a Konica toner, I would look at replacing the DV unit. What was the TCR for the magenta at?
