    CAC Authentication on Konica MFDs

Hello, requesting any info/tips on Konica MFD CAC Authentication via external server.

Currently getting a "PKI Card Invalid | Contact Admin". Another error I've gotten is -4 failed to authenticate.

    Some background:
Lexmark and Xerox MFDs configured with same ext servers, same protocols and located on the same network and have no issue.
Have a few different models of Konica MFDs, currently testing on a c300i and c458
Was told firmwares have been updated. I would assume within the past year.

    Any info greatly appreciated.

If you have a firmware level that is working do not update it. Different firmware levels require different LDD for the cac. The read me for each firmware will tell you which LDD you will need. Download the cac LDD by putting AU-211 in the quick search not under machine firmware. Another note different levels of firmware also require different cac print drivers .You cant use standard print drivers you will need to download print drivers under AU-211 not under the machine

Worked one time on a single printer for a short time. Some changes were made and it stopped working. What changes is unknown. Could've been changes on print server, auth server. Have a few different models, bizhubs c300, c458, c308e, c360i.
Appreciate the information. Thank you Markks!

Thanks again Sir! I was able to get it working on a c300i.Error code was 4. Had to set switch 41 to hex 18. Looks like firewall is blocking LDAP Secure on port 636.
