    BH-C-284e, service code C211

The MFP came in from a wholesaler equipped with a YSOFT "USB card reader V2 Multireader HF" Model MU02087. The machine was working well, but after removing the card reader service code CC211 came up. We initialized the machine without the card reader attached and installed the latest and greatest firmware. Service code still comes up about 30 seconds after the machine comes to ready. Even after reconnecting the card and initializing the machine plus rewriting of the firmware, the service code CC211 persists.

    Any help please?

    Hi,
Had this problem on another model. As you are talking about card reader, i assume the error code is not C211 but CC211.

In our case, in Pagescope Web Connection, then "User Auth", and then "Authentication type", we disabled "User Authentication" and "Account Track". After saving, we restarted the machine with the main switch and it did the trick.

    Good luck !

      Thanks!

In the meantime, I found the solution. The hard drive was not installed/activated. After activation, the service code went away. Thanks anyway for your help.

For future reference, any time you initialize a Konica mfp it turns off the hard drive. It also sometimes turns off adf as well as the fax
