Just a thought but K ones are usually cheap.A tree is known by its fruit, a man by his deeds. A good deed is never lost, he who sows courtesy, reaps friendship, and he who plants kindness gathers love.
Blessed are they who can laugh at themselves, for they shall never cease to be amused.👍 1Comment

if you post in here https://www.copytechnet.com/forum/te...the-parts-room you might be able to get someone to send you a old used dev that is faulty as im sure the gear would still be okComment

There are no #'s for developer parts because they are sold as complete units. Why not just use gears from another DV unit? or like tsb posted black DV units aren't that expensive compared to the color units. Would also be concerned why the gears wore out and same will happen to new gears. Personally I would replace whole unit. If you insist on replacing the gears there is an aftermarket dev gear set sold by CET. Around $4.00👍 1Comment

Exactly, i had that situation only once but complete unit was blocked with caked replacement toner and only new developing unit is good solution.
K is cheap, not worth bodering to replacing gears and maybe problem again in near future.Comment

If the drive input gear on the black developer unit is worn, you will have to look at it's corresponding gear in the main drive unit also. Pull the black drum and developer units, open the side door and remove the fuser (that's just for convenience) and look down at the gear, I usually use my cellphone and take a picture with the flash on so I can see it better. This gear wears out and the only way to replace it is to order a whole main drive assembly UNLESS you just happen to have another machine you can pull that drive out of and swap your black gear with any of the color gears on the loaner drive. It won't do you any good to fix or replace your black developer unit if that drive gear is worn also.Comment
