    This is invalid external Memory Bizhub C367

    Hi,
    Got this error

    Firmware Update
    Error

    This is invalid external memory.
    Please make sure the external memory.

    Ive changed the MFPB recently, got a succesfull (100%) firmware update. Upon turning on, it pops the error. it wont be the sensor since 367 use flashdrive for update.
    Any thoughts?

      What reason did you initially need to replace the MFPB ?

          Hi, we have a sudden hang up of the system.. Few minutes after turning on.. aint the panel, still working panel few minutes before hanging up.. cant update fw since it will hang up on update screen.

                  your "successful" firmware upload was not actually successful. clear the board . check that you have the correct firmware and try again.

                      I just had this problem a few weeks ago.. When I called Konica . This is what they suggested and it worked... After clearing the error and Formatting the HDD, The FW installed without any issues.. Good Luck !

                      1. Performed System Error Clear (service mode/Systems 1/ Initialization/System Error clear) ,
                      2. Rebooted. The MFP boot without the invalid error message.


                      Recommendation:
                      1. format the HDD,
                      2. Will attempt flashing only the MFP controller file.
                      3. If the issue persists replace the HDD.
                      4. If the issue persist with failure of the MFP Controller file perform a Clear All Data, (perform Setting Data Backup) then flash firmware.
