    C-450i, CD-313 code...

I looked for related posts on this code on this forum, and all I found were the C-3350i series having this code, nothing on the higher speed machines that i could find. According to the manual, I replaced the TMPB board and this did nothing. The screen offers to "recover data", but that yields nothing either and the machine simply reboots back to the original CD-313 code. I have not replaced any of the other boards yet (this machine has about 650K and may not be worth going further), but I wondered if you guys had been successful doing anything else to remedy this code? The customer traded the machine in to me, and they believed they had a power event at the building prior to the machine doing this, without any surge protection.

    Any help appreciated!

Before replacing CPU board as a last resort I would try enter service mode via trouble reset and perform
Backup manually with the following setting. [Service Mode] -> [Enhanced Security] -> [Memory Data Backup]

Thanks guys.. well Konica support had me try a late model FW, which the machine didn't take, so now its stuck at the "invalid external memory". .... I tried to reload the original FW the machine was at, and it won't take it anymore, so now its stuck at this... ARRGGHH..

Replace the CPUB. that error is always the CPUB on the i series.

OK, so I got ahold of and used the Recovery Tool, and it does indeed say "replace CPU" so that's something I'll do if it's cost-effective.
            Thanks again people.
