    C308 BizHub Secure

What is the proper way to turn off Bizhub secure? I tried what is in the manual, Admin, security settings, enhanced security mode, off. But there is nothing under enhanced security mode to turn off? I've searched service mode, enhanced service mode and didn't see anything.
A lot of off lease machines I buy have the "BizHub secure" sticker on front cover but never really know what this means and if I should turn off? Most of the time it's not an issue but in this case the external memory tab is missing in admin mode.
    Thanks in advance

This is how to do it on iSeries, if the password is lost/unknown, I'm assuming it'd be similar on any other

How to remove bizhub Secure when the HDD password and/or Encryption password is unknown or not
    working?

Follow the steps below to remove bizhub Secure which includes Clear All Data, HDD formatting and
    reloading firmware portions
    1. Enter Service Mode normally
    a. Touch Counter
    b. Touch Display Keypad
    c. Press Stop 00 Stop 01
    d. If applicable, enter CE Password 9272 4 times
    e. Touch End to enter Service Mode
Note: If unable to enter Service Mode through normal procedure listed above use this alternate method
    **
    a. Power OFF the MFP
    b. Remove small cover from back of Op Panel
    c. Power ON the MFP while pressing the lower 'Reset' button under that small cover
    d. The Trouble Reset Screen should be displayed eventually
    e. Use the numeric soft keypad to access Service Mode
    Press Stop 00 Stop 01
Touch End to enter Service Mode
    2. Select System 1
    3. Select Initialization
    4. Select Clear All Data
    5. After completion, turn MFP OFF for at least 10 seconds and then reboot
    a. If D073 or "Preparing Security/External Document" displays this is normal as SSD is not yet set
    6. Reenter
Service Mode following procedure outlined above
    7. Select System 2
    8. Select Storage Type and set to "Storage"
    9. Turn MFP OFF for at least 10 seconds and then reboot
    10. The message to "Enter Encryption password/format HDD" should appear
    a. If possible, format the HDD from this screen. If not, go to step 11
    11. If not possible to format the HDD there, reenter
Service Mode following procedure outlined above
    12. Select State Confirmation
    13. Select Memory/Storage Adjustment
    14. Select "Format" from the second screen
15 Perform a Physical format (about 20 mins) and follow screen prompts
    16. Once completed, reenter
    Service mode
    17. Select State Confirmation
    18 Select Memory/Storage Adjustment
    19. Select "Format" from the second screen
    20. Perform a Logical format (about 2 minutes) and follow screen prompts
    21. Once MFP is booted, test operation
    22. Load Movie/Voice Data, PDF libraries, etc.
Tip for the day; Treat every problem as your dog would.....If you cant eat it or f*ck it....then p*ss on it & walk away...

Thank you for the very detailed information. Hopefully the 1st procedure works for the "8" series as well.
