    "8" & "i" series with "paper cut"

The warehouse I buy my off lease equipment from sometimes has machines listed as "couldn't test paper cut installed". Is there a way to disable / uninstall paper cut on the "8" & "i" series so I can test them and maybe buy them?
I did see something on this forum for the "8" series about initializing machine in service mode. Is this same procedure for the "i" series?

    Thanks

Yes, at the device simply log in as admin, go to authentication settings & turn it off.

If you can not get into admin mode, go into service mode, might have to use back door, format hdd/strg pwb

Thanks for replies. Hope this helps others. I got into service mode with holding small button behind control panel (bottom button) while turning on. Entered service mode and uninstalled storage / hdd, cycled power and machine threw "D" code, went back into service mode and installed storage. Cycled power again and all good.
