    Konica 368e Excessive paper curl

    Hi everyone

A customer reports this problem that you find in the photo below.
I remember that to solve the problem you have to add Output Inlay A7PU169700

Have you already worked on this problem? How did you solve?
    thank you all

Use to see that more on the 4 series but have seen a few times on the 8 series. Few things, if it's a humid enviroment only thing that can fix permanently it is air condition on all the time. Other things that can help, better quality paper or switch to a heavier stock like 24lb, feeding paper in different direction, lowering or raising fuser temp in service mode, and last thing which can't hurt is saying a prayer

There is small cover to be added in the middle to paper exit cover, is it there? Also from your picture part you mentioned is there in place.

sounds weird, but the paper could be in upside down (yes there is a right orientation)

Those small added covers work a little but can still get curl if really humid enviroment. We use to put a C253 exit cover which was small on top of 4 series exit tray and that helped a lot but still curled if really humid.

Yes me too but Googled your part number and it appeared wrong part(the guide which is installed to not let duplex pages bow down too much.

if i suspect the paper i run 50 blanks, fan them and copy with them next. if all comes out straight my job was done.
i have however created custom ramps and taped them to the exit tray at some schools that buy the whole years paper in one shot and keep it in an outside trailer all year. the paper curl was brutal just like in your pics.
We know a thing or two because we've seen a thing or two.
                The medication helps though...
