    UK-211

    Greeting,
error D-272 (defective) is reported to me on c258
I took out the DDR2 sdram, after that it says D-271 (missing)
I thought it was enough just to remove extend memory.
is there a procedure for setting the memory (UK-211) and also for removing the memory.

    thanks

there may be another license \ UK-kit depending on that extra ram installed?
We know a thing or two because we've seen a thing or two.
    The medication helps though...

Are you sure you didn't remove the RAM that machine needs to work instead of the optional UK-211 RAM?

          Greeting,
I thought to remove the additional memory because it is defective and the machine does not do any more demanding printing. I did not succeed, and as Sintohol said, there is probably a license.
I installed SDRAM 2GB from the notebook and for now it works normally
