    COVID-19 and shortages....

    I composed a long winded post and the browser froze.

    I cannot get OEM toners... thoughts on short term generic toner use???

      Yeah we got a warning about the supply shortage and got ourself an overstock - hope it will last until the supply chain is back on track. I know there are different types of non OEM toners out there. The allegedly better ones are made "chemical".

          The word we got was there was a fire at the toner factory in Japan and why the shortage.

          Having to use aftermarket toner for now. Going to try Katun or Copylite. Just hope bad toner doesn't crash any expensive DV units!

              At least 3 weeks B/O in my supplier, for original toners.

                  The good news is (if you can call it good news) many production customers are not able to get paper..Might give us a break for warehouse re stocking if the toner demand falls due to this..Not saying paper isn't available, just many specific types our customers prefer running MAC papers plain 20# 11X17 is one example. E
