    C3070L - faded white diagonal stripes on thick paper, only on yellow color

    Hello,

    I just bought a used C3070L but it's got some issues.

    I attached two prints with 100% yellow (printed from CorelDraw), one 80 gsm (A3) and one 300 gsm (SRA3). The last one has some quality issues, as seen in the image. The width of the white stripes area is approx. 21 cm (the short edge of A4 paper). I interchanged the drum and the issue still persists. Could you give me any hint, please?

      It's probably not transferring all the yellow toner, probably primary transfer from the yellow drum to the primary transfer belt.

      What are the yields on the primary transfer belt parts? Quite often, the primary transfer belt itself gets changed with the cleaner unit, but the remaining rollers in the primary transfer belt assembly are ignored/neglected.

      Are you setting the correct media type?

      Or the media is just too heavy. 300gsm is the absolute maximum weight, and I will not guarantee that every possible 300 gsm media can be used. =^..^=

      1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
      2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
      3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
      4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
      5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

          replace the yellow developer. you can try and tone up but it may be shot. i would start with new drums and dev for all colors. one can affect the other. make sre toner port is not clogged

                  Konica has updated the troubleshooting guide for this problem!
                  you have to change the developer and change the dipsw that says troubleshooting!
