Is the DR-011 the only drum that will work? Will the DR-012 or DR-017 work?

The cylinders will all work in any of the related machines, but you have to exchange the flanges on the drum. They are just friction fit in.

I like to use the developing unit retaining rod as a tool to pop out the flanges.

i used a small chisel id drop in the hole and shake until the flange popped out.
learned that trick 25 years ago in the EP1080 series

yup!
id tell them either i make that noise and their copier will be fixed shortly or i can be quiet and order the exact drum and be back in 3 days.
noise was welcomed 100% every time.
ive had customers slam their drawers in support of a little noise and a working copier a couple times.
that was a long time ago, i miss those days.

sorry again, hijack wasnt done. ill be leaving the room now hehe.
just had to share stupid yet fond memories.
