    8 series SSD / EMMC replacement

    Got a c458 stuck on 2 bars on the boot screen. Suspect SSD/eMMC to be the cause.

    Part number is the same across the the range.

    Can I use a used SSD from a c308 and install it on the c458?

      I'd run the reset tar 3 times while still on the 308 and then try to install it in the c458
      We know a thing or two because we've seen a thing or two.
      The medication helps though...

          Make sure to write the firmware to the C458 after installing the SSD from the C308 but before allowing the copier to startup normally. Do not run the reset tool the C458. That will erase the last copy of your settings. Please note, whichever machine had higher meters will be your new meter after this.
