Here in Europe there is an other mainboard available with 2 different resistors so the fan doesn't turn on. It's a designflaw on the board. Not a setting and/or software issue.

    GG2-RE(00)

Sleep mode should be silent and wait for a signal from the network to wake up. In this state there is no need to send packets and it still communicates multicast. It should be the same as via USB or should be changed to efficient passive cooling for network operation in sleep mode. KM failed with this option

What firmware is it running? There was an issue with Goo-RB firmware that the fan was shut off during sleep mode to make it quieter, but it caused overheating issues because passive ventilation wasn't good enough. GG1-RB special firmware solved that problem.

Have you tried disabling usage reporting in service mode?
System 2 -> Acquiring Settings -> Usage Frequency/Collection Settings: Off

Also I would check in service mode:
Network Settings -> Function Setting -> Enable Settings: Disable
I turned off both features and it is much much better. It turns on for a few seconds, at least after 10 minutes πŸ˜€

    igmp packages cause this

As far as network packets go and hidden settings...

If vcare was somehow enabled I would verify that is also set to 0.0.0.0 or whatever the default value they use to disable it is.

Go in admin mode and in network turn off all protocols you can IPv6, FTP, etc. just leave only essentials for your own needs. Hopefully that will stop broadcasting network and you will be happy πŸ˜€

P.S. I tend to leave endusers not ruining their machines but there are few cases when educated people deserve guidance and that may be true in your case.

There is a dip switch that controls the fan on the newer firmwares for the A4 i-Series. The info from Konica talks about CPU over heats.
    • C5372 (CPU temperature failure) occurs during the low power or the sleep mode.
As a countermeasure, please change software SW to work the FAN at full speed during Low Power and Sleep mode after applying this firmware.
A function to work the CPU FAN at full speed during low power and sleep mode.
      Software SW No. 159 (bit7)
Hex: 00 (Disable [default]) FAN works at half speed in low power/sleep mode.
Hex: 80 (Enable) FAN works at full speed in low power/sleep mode.
If the FAN is working at full speed, it can be noisy. So, please get customer's permission before CE changes the fan speed.
Like tsbservice said It's probably a good idea to just live with the loud fan on an A4 machine. The CPU boards are a common failure on the latest generation of Konicas. They are not cheap and probably not something you want to take on without access to all the dealer tools. There is probably a way to replace it with a Noctua although I've never tried.

The airflow on the A4 machines is so terrible that I have seen people cut large sections out of the metal plate under the rear plastic cover to help the fan cool the CPU better. I'm not sure I would recommend that but it has been done.....

source 192.168.1.22 -Printer and on the right destination

In my opinion, this TCP position turns the fan on. The printer sends it

You're right, of course, but the solution is probably close.
I connected to another router outside the network: a phone under WAN (Internet provider), a printer and a laptop. I'm pinging the printer from my laptop. Regular pings do not wake the fan.

    hmmm

It is what it is. Forget about it. Better fan noise than cooked CPU board.

Unfortunately, still the same. Lan diodes turn on, a short click and the fan runs....

I connected another router disconnected from the main network. I connected the printer via LAN and the phone via WiFi.
It works fine here, nothing wakes it up. Only entering the https page of the printer turns on the fan but does not wake it up.

Reconnected to the main network. It receives something from the main network and these packets turn on the cooling system but do not wake it up

It is not known what packets sent through the printer's LAN port only wake up the fan for cooling purposes
