How much weight can a PF-602 lift?

Printing on some 300gsm 13x19 gloss paper the last few days and I suspect the PF-602 Tray/5 is struggling to lift the weight of the paper into position. The lifting motor runs for a very long time after closing the drawer. Is there a weight limit spec for the PF-602 somewhere? Is there a wear item I can check? The service manual shows a Lift Motor on the back of the PF-602, but it's not really clear how that engages with the lift wire. I haven't taken one apart ever to learn. Any advice appreciated!

6,000 sheets (80 gsm standard paper) is the spec so 6000 / 3.75(300/80) = 1600 300gsm sheets per tray equivalent weight falls into spec for expected max paper weight per tray no?
    also consider
Paper Weight Tray (upper) 62 gsm to 256 gsmTray (lower) 62 gsm to 300 gsm
300gsm would not go in the top tray as per specs.
We know a thing or two because we've seen a thing or two.
    The medication helps though...

Yeah, I'm using the lower Tray 5 because of the 300 gsm spec. Also cuz I think it takes a shorter / straighter paper path to the C7000.

Is that 6000 sheets @ 80gsm paper weight spec for A4 sheets? 8.5x11? Cuz these are 13x19 so more than 2x the area/volume of an 8.5x11 US Letter size.

Any pro-tips on checking the lift wire system for non-slipping? I don't think it has a wearable clutch, right?

i know im using the A word but i assume paper capacity specs assume the largest size that fits.
so 13x19 appears to be the spec.

Not every paper that is 300gsm will work. As you get up to 275gsm you will find individual papers that will work well, and those that will not. Also make sure that the side guides are adjusted precisely for your paper. The most common issue that I have come across is inaccurate cutting of the raw paper stock, some smaller, some larger. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
          1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
          2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
          3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
          4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
          5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

a ream of 300gsm especially coated 13x19 is as heavy as a whole pack of roofing shingles
that would strain the lift for sure!
