C308 error remove paper from inside of tray message

Need help, Haven't seen this issue before with Bizhub C308/C368. Our client get error message every few days on a Konica Minolta C308 "REMOVE PAPER FROM INSIDE OF TRAY" on the screen. Machine has no paper jam. When removing the paper in the tray or removing the tray out to inspect there is no paper behind or at any section of the copier. Feed rollers seems in good shape. when checking service call history we see error 0210 that indicate LCT tray stuck but tray is ok and client does not use or has paper in LCT tray. Powering down the machine and unplugging the power does not resolve the issue. Machine has 172k

if the client doesn't use the LCT, why don't you isolate it in tech rep mode, or even unplug it....
Tip for the day; Treat every problem as your dog would.....If you cant eat it or f*ck it....then p*ss on it & walk away...

The client would like to use the LCT but for now was asked not to put paper or use the LCT cassette till we figure what cause the error. At this point we will remove the LCT and keep tray 1-2. But again the error show even with no paper at the LCT at all and using trays 1-2.
BTW, Looking at the picture of the error seems to me it is asking to remove paper from upper trays and not LCT.

The error shown is telling you to remove the paper from the tray THEN to remove the tray and check for paper stuck beind the tray at the tray lift area.
EDIT: My mistake - I see you have removed the tray.

There may be excessive dust in the sensors at the back, I would clean those if it has not been done.

On one occasion I had a machine that the Wiring Harness for the Tray Lift Motors and Size detecion had managed to move. It ended up behind the apperture where the tray slots into the rear of the mahcine and over time the wires had been worn through, causing weird size issues and no paper in tray errors. If memory serves you will have to remove the MFP board and HV board to get access to the harness to inspect if the cables have been broken/worn/shorted.

        Good luck

Slammers, Just to clarify the cassettes were removed and inspected and the machine working for few days and than error show up. All sensors wee cleaned at the door and behind the cassettes as much as possible/ I will check the wires but why do i get every few days error 0210 of LCT on the log while no paper in the LCT?

Yeah that was my bad, I missed the part where you said the trays were removed. I have edited my response.
Are the cables running from the main unit to the LCT in good condition? Have also seen those get trapped between the LCT and Mainbody, which puts a downward pull on the connector causing it to unseat itself over time.

As for the sporadic, if the cables are indeed not seated right or damaged and lets say the customer has a cleaner that comes in and moves the device to vacuum, this may cause the cable to shift/wobble triggering the error.

Thanks, good point, The cables from machine to LCT are good and inspected but I will check all cable behind the cassettes and just in case disconnect the LCT for few days.
