    Login fail on stopped job

    Good morning everyone,
we have a Bizhub 308, and all users are configured with authentication in the Windows driver.
When we send print jobs (the printer is, of course, set with the "public" user), the prints come out, but if a user is in a hurry to cancel a large print job by pressing STOP on the printer's front panel, they cannot delete the job because the physical "login" button on the side is disabled.
Is there an update or setting that allows logging in under these circumstances?
    Thanks a lot in advance.

The only thing I'm aware of is logging in as the same user on the copier to stop a job. Can they use the interrupt button instead? They don't need to delete the job then.
Worked in IT for 12 years from Helpdesk up to System Administrator. Now working as the IT Manager at a copier company for the last 4 years.

If I helped you out, please give me a thumbs up! It helps my reputation.

The public user can stop the job but not delete it.. to do so you need to be logged in... the fact is that once stopped there is not ANY way to login cause the button is disabled.
      We found a workaround:
when you need to stop and delete a job you need to open all the drawers so the print stops immedialtly and (in this way) on the display appears 3 buttons on the bottom ... "next box job" (or something like that) if you tap on that button the login on the right is enabled and we can login and delete the job.

This is good to save paper and toner... but open the drawers is not a good way to stop a job (stucked paper ecc....)

Of course they can, but meanwhile they write user and password the job is ended.
On the other hand, if the user presses the button to stop the job, there is no way to access the login menu.

The only thing is missing is to enable the login button (the physical one) AFTER the interrupt button is pressed.

Is there a reason you can't hit job list and stop it that way?

Yes... it's because it doesn't work, from the job list i can see the list but not STOP the single job.
I think because the actual user during the job is PUBLIC so when i approach to the printer i can stop the job from the physical button but to delete it i need to login anyway.
