364e not scanning when faxing

Got a 364e that when I try to fax, it doesn't pull the paper thru the scanner. It says scanning and after a second it goes to scan/fax page where you do fax/ email/ smb/ etc.

Copies work perfect on the feeder. Tried unsetting and setting up different fax units and still the same.

Have a couple 454 and 554 with faxes and work fine, sometimes I get a dud fax board.

Any ideas? Thanks.

What happens if You're faxing from the glass? Will it send?

From the glass it works, but not from the DF

Yes, from the glass faxing works. I dont have a phone line connected that is why it gives me the no line error.

Its working now. I formatted the HDD and did the firmware and everything is working now.

Guess previous owner deleted everything and that us why it had issues.

Make sure you set the marketing area in service mode from JP. It gets reset after machine is wiped. If you don't you will have intermittent faxing issues.

Thanks, there are two more JP on the marketing area that i switch to US also. Only thing, are Konica slower than Kyocera regarding faxes? Because I swapped from a Taskalfa 520i to this Bizhub and to a 454e, and on the 520i sending/receiving/and result reporting is right away, compared to like 1-2 minutes on the BH...
