    C364e scan-to-email intermittent failure

    Hello all,

I have a c364e with an intermittent scan-to-email failure ("server connection error").
The c364e is set up for scan-to-email to an Office 365 server and worked without issue of any kind since I set it up years ago. Last week, the printer rejects about 3 out of 4 scans ("server connection error"). There were no apparent network or settings changes that could catalyze this.
I have since re-initialized the printer and updated the firmware to the latest version, and wiped all the network settings and started over.
I even set up an IIS email relay, but the very same intermittent behavior is being witnessed.
I've checked the MS365 security settings and everything seems to be in order.

    Anyone have any ideas?

Edit: After boneheadedly missing the recent related post about the c284e (https://www.copytechnet.com/forum/te...5-scan-to-mail), I think I may have found the setting that fixed this. Ten test scans seem to have succeeded after adjusting the settings found on this link: https://www.febooti.com/products/aut...ffice-365.html

Glad it worked out well for you. Please don't forget to give the tech credit for posting the link.

Good to hear using the search feature here worked out for you. Many times I even forget to use it.
FYI, you are lucky that old model is able to scan to email at all. You can expect to lose scanning a few times a year because of Windows updates, etc. Sometimes you get lucky and powering off and on with "main switch" resets scan to email, other times settings have to be done again. Scan to email got to be such a pain in the ass with most of my customers they just upgraded. I still have many 4 series that are working good with SMB scanning and customers love them (one of the best machines made by kon/min) They all know it's an "end of life" model and only a matter of time before they have to upgrade.

Enable App Password in Office365 or in Gmail to enable scan to email feature in Konica Minolta Printers. This works and it is tested
