Urgently Need Working Firmware for Konica Minolta C4050i

    Hello everyone,

I have a Konica Minolta Bizhub C4050i that has an issue that can only be fixed with a firmware update—I’ve already tried all troubleshooting steps. I downloaded the firmware from KIKU, but it is not working.

I need to get this machine up and running as soon as possible. If anyone has a confirmed working version, please share it with me. Your help would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks in advance!

kingarthur I'm facing an issue where the paper always feeds from Tray 1, regardless of which tray is selected. I initially updated the firmware to try and resolve it, but the problem persisted.
            To troubleshoot, I:

Checked the paper settings to ensure other trays were activated.

            Initialized and formatted all data.

            Inspected hardware connections and sensors.

After formatting, I encountered error code C-D073, which I believe is related to the EEPROM. I suspect the issue may be with corrupted firmware or an EEPROM problem, If you have any insights or a solution, I’d really appreciate your help! And yes i also format the ssd

C-D073 is normally where the storage type is wrong - double check that the device "storage type setting" is correct, your device probably thinks that it has a microsd, instead of a storage board

kingarthur Thanks for your response. I already checked the Storage Type Setting, and it is correctly set to Storage Board, not MicroSD. However, the C-D073 error still persists. I have also initialized and formatted all data. Do you think reinstalling the firmware could resolve this, or could there be another issue causing this error?

You have access to "KIKU", if you search "D073", there's a bulletin PSCSES_2010648EN which mentions corrupted data on Microsd/storage board, i'd follow what that says, then if it doesn't work, look into possibly replacing the storage board or possibly CPU board, as that's where the storage board sits. There's also a bulletin DLKM_BT2101EN which has the Diagnostics and Recovery tool for Bootup issues, which might either help you recover the issue, or point you to which of those 2 boards may be faulty
