    Reset Konica Minolta Bizhub C224e

    Hi printer tech gurus,

Our printer at work seems to be having some issues after the power was temporarily cut to our building. It looks like the all printer settings have reset and I am struggling to re-setup especially since KM has discontinued this model and is now no longer servicing them either... bummer right?

After the power was turned back on the printer started back up however displayed the message "Serial number needs to be entered. Contact service representative.". To input the serial number I entered the service mode by the following steps:
    1) Stop<0<0<Stop<0<1
    Then entered the password
    2) 9272927292729272 < Exit
    Then input printer serial number
    3) System 1 <Printer < Entered Serial number

Now when i exit the service mode I receive a new error. "TPM chip has been changed. Initialize TPM Setting." I am now however struggling to understand what this is issue is or how to resolve. I have attempted to turn the main switch off and on after inputting the serial number however the printer no longer boots up properly, i.e. all the lights are on and the printer does sound to be turning on however nothing on the screen appears (after the initial start up screen) and all buttons are unresponsive. To use the machine again I have to continually turn it off and back on until we are back at stage one and it is asking for the serial number.

If anyone knows roughly what might be happening or how to fix any help would be greatly appreciated!

sounds like the battery is done.
We know a thing or two because we've seen a thing or two.
    The medication helps though...

      +1 to this.

Copier needs a new battery soldered onto the main board.
