C558 - When using User auth option for Recipien user/password is grayed out

I'm trying to enable User auth on konica. But what ever I do option to input User name and Password is grayed out.

I tried with c558 drivers and Universal 3.9. drivers. Is there a software switch or some option that I have to check to let this input field be "entrable".

I've tried this on different 558 and 658 etc. with same FW and same version number and it works without any problems with same drivers on same network.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

When you go into your settings, have you got "Simple Authentication" turned on

Check this Option
Enable User Authentication: ON(MFP)

Now it will allow you to enter the credentials.

Enable SNMP on both the copier and the port on the print driver.

It will automatically poll the correct add ons and options. Currently (like the folks above mentioned) authentication is off in the print driver settings.

User auth is ON (MFP) and Simple Auth was on Restriced and when I Obtain settings it fills it with correct infos that I set in webui and on the device.

I've solved this by re initializing the machine. No clue what caused error in the first place.
