BH-C-280 SMB working, but BH-C-284e NOT in a MAC network!

BH-C-280 SMB scan working, but BH-C-284e SMB scan, NOT, in a MAC Network with OSX using the same settings.

Any ideas what could be wrong? Firmware?

Its unlikely to be a firmware issue as the C280 works which is way more outdated.

Thanks, I was thinking along the same line but since this machine is coming from a wholesaler, one does not know if being goofed up in the past. Though I did a system reset, but I do not know how deep this goes. I'll go there with the latest firmware and report the outcome.

Check your SMB client settings. It may be set to SMBv1 or something.
