I usually say if you can feel the dev on the print its generally HVT and if you can't feel dev but the page is covered with a colour its usually laser...Leave a comment:

If the level on the original chip wasn't correct it would throw an error which means its fine to use a brand new chip as it will have the same levels....Leave a comment:
