    C284e problems with scan size

Hi guys! I'm a beginner, any advice is helpful! I just got a C284e sh.
Do you have any idea why when scanning an A4 sheet (210mm x 297mm) the size in pdf is 209.9mm x 296.7mm?
There are also differences when scanning an A3 sheet (420mm x 297mm), the size in pdf is 419.8mm x 296.7mm.
    Thank you for your effort!

Re: C284e problems with scan size

It's the actual size of the original. If you want an exact A4 or A3 scan size you can make that selection. It's common for documents that are sent to the courts here in the US to manually set the scan size to 8 1/2" x 11" letter, because that's the only size documents the court will accept.

I've even come across this on HP wide format devices. I got a call for "Paper Mismatch ... " messages when printing. The 30" roll that the enduser had loaded was actually 30.0625" and was detected as 30.1" ... thusly not a match for paper width. Naturally the customer tried to blame us for the paper width thing. "Who did you buy the paper from?" ended that discussion.

If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
      1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
      2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
      3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
      4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
      5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

I folded an a4 sheet on the short side and scanned it with the automatic choice of format. The scan size was 194.7mm x 269.9mm

I saw on a slightly older konica, C220, that the size of the A4 scanned sheet is 210mm x 297mm. I think the problem is with me somewhere in the settings, but I don't know where.

If I select the scan mode, auto mode or A4 size, I have the same result (209.9mm x 296.7mm).
It may be something of the size it has stored at the size of the A4 page ... I don't know if such a thing is possible ...
