C454e rebooting by itself 10 seconds after boot up

    Hi,
we have Bizhub C454e machine at one customer with weird problem - machine boots up, displays interface, enumerates everything and when it is ready to copy, you have some 10 seconds time to do anything, like copy, enter admin mode, enter service mode... but after 10 seconds it goes into reboot. So we cannot get even error code, as 10 seconds is not enough time to do anything. Funny - you can copy or print within that 10 seconds window, and it prints it out just fine.

We tried changing SSD disk module and uploaded fresh firmware, but problem did not go away.
    Any idea?

Hi, thanx! Well...it is not on network anymore, but I cannot recall, if USB cable was connected or not when we did that service. Will check tomorrow.
You think network card or USB interface could be an issue?

UPDATE: Our technician just remembered, that machine was having troubles with "Preparing User Box..." stage, so he assumed SSD might be failed and replaced it. But weird...if he unplugs SSD, it does not throw error code, but only reminds to plug-in SSD.

I've had it before, when one person in the office was trying to print a pdf, using non KM print drivers, and the device kept rebooting. It was just one PC causing the issue, when they passed the document to someone else to print - it was fine

Weird... we can definitelly check that, as there are not many users. Thanx!

UPDATE: Ah, that's annoying. As we try to diagnose with customer via phone, he keeps adding usefull info. Now he remembered that before any problems start, printer had CD-390 Nonvolatile data checksum error. That changes a lot. Geez... sometimes we feel like veterinarians, have to guess what's the issue in the first place...

Will machine boot up normally if Hard drive disconnected and/or UNinstalled in service mode?

Is date & time lost, if so replace memory battery on MFP board.

Great hints, thanx! Will tell technician to try all those suggestions on field.
