Bizhub c3851fs direct WiFi connection setup problems

I'm trying to setup a direct WiFi connection on this c3851fs. I selected wired plus wireless wifi direct in network if connection. Then under wireless network settings I did manual chanel 11. DHCP enable ipv4 start 192.168.1.100 - 192.168.1.200 subnet mask 255.255.255.0 under simple ap I put in an SSID name and wap2 password is automatically created. Under tcp ip wireless ip4 I put 192.168.1.10 subnet mask 255.255.255.0. now I can see the WiFi direct printer on my phone but am unable to connect. Any suggestions thanks so much ❤️

I believe their is some mobile connectivity settings that need to be configured if you are trying to connect through the app. I would recommend typing the IP of the machine in your phone's browser to see if you connect to the web connection. If you do - great if you don't you may want to run a ping test on the machine

if the wired and wireless networks are on the same subnet and the mobile device is logged on the wireless it should work regardless.
as suggested, if you can open the copiers browser on a mobile device (use the LAN IP) that should be good enough to print.
