Hi, I salute each of you since this is my first post. I apologize in case this topic may be redundant.
Recently my c250i ran out of toner K, I kept it on from time to time because I needed the scanner while it still displayed the alert of empty toner. I replaced it with another original toner but it still tells me that the toner cartridge is empty. I thought it may be a faulty chip, so i swapped around and even bought a second toner, but to no avail.
I tried a trouble reset and i've tweaked around in service mode, apparently the toner level is around 2.3-2.4%. I've tried a manual hopper refill but it didnt work, and manual toner add doesn't seem to work.
The hopper seems to work fine.
I'm at my wits end because after all i've tried i'm literally clueless. I turn the machine on, it goes "mmmmmmmm" for a while then displays a empty toner error.
Is there a solution?
I suspect it may be a software error, because I thoroughly inspected the machine but everything seems fine.
