KM C8000 stuck on start-up

My KM8000 is stuck on the boot screen "Please wait, starting system"
Any ideas???

HDD .. firmware... defective part.
Can you give is the error code ( if any )

There is no code, won't boot that far. Will not allow access to diagnostics either. Just stuck on system starting screen. Tried resetting cables to HDD's, no change.

This typically happens when it can't find the HDD or NVRAM. Just hangs up and doesn't know what to do.

Being an end user do you even know how to find that information?
Cables? NO! Try to format the drive if it fails replace HDD.

just so were clear is it the C8000 printer control panel with bad boot screen or is it the Fiery print controller /command work station big silver box not booting
asking for a friend ?

Model C7000 has a procedure to rename a firmware and turn on the printer with usb connected. The printer already starts the firmware update and solves this initialization problem.

Model C8000 same year and same schedule. I believe it is the same procedure. Search on and you should find the solution

Update, the fix to this was resetting the HDD connections on the main board. Thank you, Sean
