    Konica Bizhub C3350 Scanner lock

    Has anyone come across this before?
    Scanner lock message comes on in the middle of scanning through doc feeder.
    Of course the scanner lock is in the off position.

          They said they looked at belt and it's not broken.
          What about it being stretched?

              That scanner comes as an assembly (A3GN 2601 00) ... no sub assembly parts. And if it is a Lexmark build ... yes, Lexmarks are known for snapping that length of timing belt, then displaying "SCANNER LOCK" condition. Maybe you can see the condition of that timing belt through the glass?

              Disassembly of the scanner will only be to resolve your curiosity, since there are no individual parts available. =^..^=
              If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
              1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
              2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
              3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
              4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
              5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

                  I already checked on the belt, it is available as separate part.

                      Yes KM have released a few parts in the optical unit due to demand from service.
