    C250i Coloured Backgrounding

    Hi folks,

    Iv attached a print sample of an issues we have with a C250i. The technician has changed the drums, transfer belt and roller already.
    any help you be greatly appreciated.

    Change the high voltage, if it persist change the IDC sensor.

        anyone try the background data reset and stabilize?
        rescued a few machines with overcast like that and the reset worked 8/10 times.
        yours looks pretty intense though.
        We know a thing or two because we've seen a thing or two.
        The medication helps though...

          Was the drum original? Brand new? If that was a second hand drum, without the reset chip then this would be the result.

            Or an old drum that has been newly chipped

              I've asked the technician to take out the HVT, clean the contacts and reseat it.
              He has confirmed today that it has resolved the issue. many thanks for your responses guys.
