    Konica Minolta c300i screen blinking

It’s so weird it happened yesterday. It would blink for about five minutes and then it stopped blinking and then it was just fine and it’s already doing it again today. I’m gonna run up there and check the power making sure we have a good power supply at the wall. Any other thoughts?

A few steps just of top of my head.
Run full self diagnostic, check for errors in history, update firmware, maybe check for problematic Panel CPU ver. A2J0Y0-8900-G30-08 and update it if needed.

😊The first units fail a lot, it is in the union of the USB-C connector of the panel cable with the motherboard.

We've had issues with two screens go out completely. Both machines worked perfectly fine as a printer, but not much good as a copier since you can't see or touch anything on the screen. No errors were logged in either case. In both instances it was caused by the customer separating the two halves of the screen assembly.

On the first one, the customer (elephant?) was using the screen to pull themselves up to the copier while still sitting in their office chair, and one of the lower corners (not sure which any more) separated and the screen went dead. On the second one the customer was loading the bypass, and when they went to stand up, the metal clip on the lanyard they were wearing caught on the lower right corner of the screen and separated it. Again, instantly dead screen.

I'm guessing some sort of connection in there must have gotten pulled apart, but since the screen still fell under the 3-year board warranty, we didn't bother to investigate what the problem was, just claimed it under warranty and got a replacement.

                So to speak, yes.
I'm not thin by any means myself, but if you saw...
Let's just say they have a bit of a struggle standing up from the chair, so it's easier for them to just roll around in it. When they need to get something from the copier, the screen was the most convenient "grab handle" to pull themselves in close enough to get the papers off the copier.

Not sure how how even a thin person could gab that screen and not break it off. They are built cheap as shit.

The salesman probably told the fat person that it was good exercise to roll over to copier. After all sales people will say anthing to sell a copier
