Konica Minolta c654e - fiery E100 undefinedresource error

I installed the ic-414 fiery for this machine - figured out how to set up all the software and even successfully print from the E100 software.

However, I much prefer the Konica Minolta bizhub c654e PS software because certain options like offset printing from the finisher are not a part of the e100 driver.

When I set up the print driver with that software - my prints come out saying

    ERROR:undefinedresource
    OFFENDING COMMAND: findresource

    STACK:
    /ProcSet
    /KMOptions
    -dictionary-

anyone faced this and found a solution? other driver setups work normally, just feel limited. thanks.

the fiery driver will have all the options the emperon driver does afaik, is it setup correctly for LPR with Print as the queue name? enabled 2 way communication?
you shouldn't use the wrong driver. you can use the IP the fiery designated for the copier (usually 1 # up) and use the emperon ps driver and the fiery will passthrough the job to it but i dont recollect any finishing options that were not in both drivers.
fwiw on the fiery webpage there is a tab for downloads. i usually grab that and extract the drivers and manually install it LPR.

We know a thing or two because we've seen a thing or two.
    The medication helps though...

This made me question my set-up entirely and helped me figure it out. tysm

I was not setting up the driver correctly. Add printer from the IP address window in the settings, put in that printer ip (mine was a few numbers higher than the driver. found on configuration sheet) protocol LPD selected - looks good to me now

      TYSM!
