Hi every one I have one very stupid problem with Konica c308. I recently bought a Konica Minolta c308 second hand. The machine does not want to print in color from the computers. It copies in color from a sheet without any problems. I run a test page from the machine settings and everything is fine. When I try to print in color from the computer some times, a message appears that the function has been stopped by the machine Administrator. I have all the access passwords but I still have not found where to start and stop color printing. Please help.

its possible the public account is displayed at walk-up but color printing is restricted.

Thanks for the reply and the manual. I have an idea for a different approach. If I can factory reset the device, it will print in color. Maybe I can fix some limitations that I haven't discovered yet.
I tried System 1 -> Initialization -> Clear All Data. Then I formatted the hard drive. That didn't fix the color printing issue. Is there a way to reset all settings to factory defaults?Comment

is it past consumable life in anything? or a PM call or something else restricting color.

its likely one of those three.
no idea why you thought formatting would do anything. its storage not programming.
do you have a color driver? they made a black only driver for the 8 series color machines.We know a thing or two because we've seen a thing or two.

Guys, I'm a big idiot. In a hurry, I installed drivers for 308 instead of C308. After changing the drivers, everything works as it should. Thanks for the help and your time!Comment
