Hi, I have two C458s with G00-X4 firmware, and they are in a domain server environment with Windows 10 and Windows 11 22H2. We've had no problems authenticating using Single Sign-On (SSO) until now. The customer is currently updating their computers to Windows 11 24H2, and I can't use SSO. The checkbox for User Authentication is greyed out.

and why is that your problem?
also hope its not windows HOME edition like some cheap morons purchase in a business environment.
you need the ability to create a local account, not some stupid pin number or MSN email signon.
im running 24H2 on my new PC i built but i used rufus to make the install disk and allowed the creation of a local account.
if equipment is in place and they change their OS its NEVER your problem. never.
this brings back nightmares when vista upgrades were pushed out but there were no minolta drivers created for vista yet.
this is totally NOT on you, you are not in charge of M$ so its never your fault.
id charge for a solution if there is one. at least make sure its not home edition, you wont stand a chance.Last edited by Synthohol; 3 days ago.We know a thing or two because we've seen a thing or two.
The medication helps though... -
The problem is that the two C458s are leased to the client, and I need to get them working with Windows 11 24H2. This client has about 40 computers and around 80 people working in two shifts. I've already checked that they're Windows 11 Pro (it's not the first time this has happened to me). The strange thing is that it works perfectly with Windows 10 and Windows 11 22H2, but fails with the latest Windows update.Comment

I have no idea on this but just trying to help. I found this,
One potential solution is to enable Multi-Provider Router (MPR) notifications in the Group Policy settings. Here’s how you can do it:- Open Group Policy Editor: Press Win + R, type gpedit.msc, and press Enter.
- Navigate to the following path:
- Computer Configuration > Administrative Templates > Windows Components > Windows Logon Options
- Enable MPR Notifications:
- Find the policy named "Configure the transmission of the user’s password in the content of MPR notifications sent by Winlogon".
- Set this policy to Enabled.
This should help re-enable the SSO functionality
Might be irrelevant but just trying to helpComment
